Italian Sloppy Joes (Ciambotti)

Ingredients

2 pound(s) Italian sausage (1 hot, 1 mild) out of casings (or all hot if you like spice)
4-5 Bell peppers, sliced
1 package(s) 12oz. sliced mushooms
2 can(s) Diced tomatoes (drain one if you like it less saucy, and thicker)
10-12 ounce Marinara sauce (home made or Newman's Own Marinara)
10-12 clove(s) garlic, minced
salt & pepper

 Saute sausage and 5-6 cloves of garlic in a skillet. In a separate pot (8 qt. stock pot), saute peppers and 5-6 cloves of garlic until partially soft.  Add mushrooms, tomatoes, salt and pepper (and sausage/garlic mixture).  Cook for at least 1/2 hour.  Enjoy with toasted rolls.  Either make sandwiches with it or eat w/ a spoon and dip the crusty bread in the sauce.  Enjoy!
