Ingredients
4 cup(s) Flour |
1-3/4 cup(s) Shortening |
1 tablespoon(s) Sugar |
2 teaspoon(s) Salt |
1 tablespoon(s) Vinegar |
1 Egg |
1/2 cup(s) Cold Water |
Instructions
Mix together first four ingredients with fork. In a seperate bowl, beat remaining ingredients. Combine the mixtures, stirring with a fork until all ingredients are moistened. Mold dough into a ball. Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling into desired shape. |
Notes:This will make enough for two apple pies (or four pies with one crust). Depending on the type of pie you are making, cut the dough ball in half or in quarters. |
